A Revista Sitientibus é uma publicação da Universidade Estadual de Feira Santana, editada desde 1982, que objetiva a ampla divulgação ciência em suas variadas áreas. Este número, especial, dedicado estudos sobre Linguagem e Sociedade congrega trabalhos área Linguística – nos campos Análise do Discurso, Sociolinguística Léxico –, todos voltados para relação entre os usos língua contextos sociais ocorrem.
